The Caledonia Food Co-op is seeking a new board member to steer our co-op forward! All food co-ops require strong governance and member participation to succeed. If you are not afraid of big decisions and hard work, consider joining the Caledonia Food Co-op board of directors. Together we can build a community-owned grocery store in St Johnsbury.
Per the Coop’s bylaws, nominations for Director “may be made by the Board or by a petition signed by at least twenty-five (25) members entitled to vote and submitted to the Secretary at least thirty (30) days before the annual meeting.”
If you are interested in running for election, the deadline to apply is May 16, 2021.
Please direct questions and submit the completed application to
Board Secretary David Hale at email@example.com.
The annual meeting is scheduled for June 16th from 6–7 p.m. online via Zoom. The invitation to become a member of the Board of Directors is open to all Founding Members and a review of the Coop bylaws is encouraged. The Coop bylaws are available on the website.
